Some Bizarre Facts About October 7 Attack

Written by:

The list is growing by the day, so so here are just several of them.

Fact 1

Just a couple of hours before the attack of Oct 7, the heads of the IDF and Israel intelligence services held a discussion. This discussion took place on October 7 early morning, and in which they estimated that a day of combat was to develop in the region. The Participants in the assessment believed that the fighting could include kidnapping attempts or attempts to infiltrate, by up to a dozen terrorists, into one or two Kibbutzes or Moshavs. But despite this assessment, the top brass did not raise the alert level and did not update the forces on the ground, nor the civilians residing in the area, nor the participants in the Nova music festival. Also, prime-minister Netanyahu was not informed.

The intelligence analysis carried out on Saturday early morning was conducted as part of a discussion with the Chief of Staff – Hertzi Halevi, the head of the Shin-Bet – Ronen Bar, the head of the Military Intelligence Division – Aharon Khaliwa, and other senior officials. However, the assessment dealt with a scenario of a much smaller magnitude than the real one.

Our take: So, taking control of 1-2 Kibbutzes/Moshavs and abducting civilians and soldiers is absolutely fine with the IDF top brass. Here are two questions:
Is keeping a Prime Minister out of the loop not a military Putsch?
Is a failure to warn civilians and soldiers not a treason?

Fact 2

30-40 minutes before the attack broke out, the Golani infantry soldiers who were patrolling the area were commanded to move away from Burma Road which runs along Gaza border fence.

Our take: hhmmm

Fact 3

Three surveillance balloons, regularly up in the air 24/7, were somehow compromised or sabotaged about three weeks before the attack, and had not been repaired and put back on surveillance.

Our take: Ohhh

Fact 4

NY Times reports that about a year before the Oct 7 attack, the highly praised intelligence unit 8200 has quit eavesdropping Hamas communications, because it was believed to be a “waste of time”. (The US also ceased collecting intelligence about the the organization.)

Our take: no hear, no see, no speak,

Fact 5

What happened at Zikim Beach on October 7. Matan Shlomo testified about lighting bombs starting at 5:30 AM, and then an Israeli Dvora (bee) boat heavily spraying the beach with mortar bombs at 06:00 AM on October 7 morning – half an hour before the official time of the attack. Sirens were not activated.

Our take: Down the rabbit hole…

Fact 6

The lookouts reported months in advance about alarming signs of an imminent attack. They were ignored and their reports dismissed. They decided to reach out to a senior officer who threatened them that “if you continue annoy with this BS once more, you will be charged“.

Our take: If you speak the truth, we’ll charge you. George Orwell says Hi.

(By the way, why his books cannot be found on Gutenberg Project. The copyrights expired on 2020, January 21, 70 years after he passed away.)

Fact 7

A battalion trained to deal with terrorist takeover did not join the battle for 12 hours because they couldn’t open the armoury, since they could not find the key.

Our take: “The dog ate my homework.”

Fact 8

Blinken sitting in the War Cabinet.

Our take: Blinken’s playing Kissinger.

Fact 9

The USS Ford (and its strike group) was headed to the eastern Med Sea on October 8, one day after the attack. Apparently, it’s been already in the Med Sea waters.

Our take: coincidence.

Fact 10

Rishi Sunak’s family makes Billions from Gaza oil – Jimmy Dore.

Our take: Oh, the oil/gas factor again.

The list is far from being complete, but we’ll settle for these this time.
